Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 25, 2026
Last Updated: August 25, 2026

iHandyman was built with privacy by default.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for advertising. We do not use advertising pixels, retargeting tools, session-recording tools, or cross-site behavioral trackers. We do not operate a messaging system between customers and handymen, and we do not have access to the contents of their direct communications.

We process only the information reasonably necessary to operate the iHandyman directory, provide accounts and public profiles, display availability and portfolio content, manage reviews and problem reports, process membership payments, confirm identity-verification status, protect the service, and comply with applicable law.

This Privacy Policy explains how IHANDYMAN, a California stock corporation doing business as iHandyman (“iHandyman,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), processes personal information in connection with ihandyman.pro and related services.

1. Who We Are

The website and service are operated by:

IHANDYMAN
A California stock corporation doing business as iHandyman
6930 Fair Oaks Blvd
Carmichael, CA 95608
United States

Privacy requests: privacy@ihandyman.pro

iHandyman is an online membership directory that helps people find and contact independent handyman professionals and businesses.

iHandyman is not the employer of listed handymen and does not perform, supervise, control, or participate in their work. Customers and handymen communicate, agree on services, and arrange payment directly with each other.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through:

  • The iHandyman website;
  • Customer accounts;
  • Handyman membership applications;
  • Handyman dashboards;
  • Public handyman profiles;
  • Search and Live Availability features;
  • Portfolio and project media;
  • Reviews and customer-submitted photos;
  • Saved or favorite handyman profiles;
  • Problem reports and related responses;
  • Membership billing;
  • Identity verification initiated through iHandyman;
  • Account-verification and service-related emails;
  • Support and privacy requests submitted directly to iHandyman.

This Policy does not govern the independent privacy practices of individual handymen, mobile carriers, telephone providers, email providers, messaging applications, payment applications, websites linked from public profiles, or other third-party services that a user independently chooses to use.

3. Information We Process

3.1 Search and Website Function Information

A person may search iHandyman and view public profiles without creating a customer account.

When a person uses search or Live Availability, the service may process:

  • The selected city or service area;
  • Selected services;
  • A requested date or availability preference;
  • Search filters;
  • Search results;
  • Information temporarily stored in the browser to complete the requested function;
  • Limited request and security information needed to return results and protect the service.

Where enabled, iHandyman may use an Internet Protocol address to make an approximate city or regional suggestion.

This is not precise GPS location information. It is not used to track a person across websites, create an advertising profile, or deliver behavioral advertising.

We do not sell search information or use search activity for third-party advertising.

3.2 Customer Account Information

When a customer creates an iHandyman account, we may process:

  • Email address;
  • Password in securely hashed form;
  • Email-verification status;
  • Account status;
  • Saved or favorite handyman profiles;
  • Reviews and review history;
  • Star ratings;
  • Photos or other content submitted with a review;
  • Account settings;
  • Support requests sent directly to iHandyman;
  • Information voluntarily submitted in a problem report.

A customer account is used to manage reviews, saved handymen, account access, and related website functions.

A customer account is not required merely to search for handymen or view public profiles.

3.3 Handyman Application and Account Information

When a handyman or business applies for membership, we may process information voluntarily submitted during registration, including:

  • First and last name;
  • Company or business name;
  • Primary business activity;
  • Website or professional evidence links;
  • Primary service city;
  • Additional service areas;
  • Business address;
  • Email address;
  • Telephone number;
  • Main profile photograph;
  • Application status;
  • Membership status;
  • Stripe payment, subscription, and verification reference identifiers.

After approval, a member may also choose to add or manage:

  • Public profile name;
  • Business description;
  • Services and categories;
  • Experience information;
  • Languages;
  • Availability;
  • Accepted payment methods;
  • Portfolio photographs and videos;
  • Project photographs and descriptions;
  • Additional service cities;
  • Public contact information;
  • Responses to reviews or problem reports;
  • Other information intentionally added to the profile or account.

The business address provided during registration is kept as private account information and is separate from the member’s selected public service city.

The business address is not displayed publicly unless the member intentionally chooses to publish it through a clearly identified public field.

3.4 Public Profile Information

A handyman profile is intended to be publicly accessible.

Depending on what a member chooses to provide, public profile information may include:

  • Name or company name;
  • Profile photograph;
  • Business description;
  • Telephone number or another chosen contact method;
  • Service cities and service areas;
  • Services;
  • Experience;
  • Languages;
  • Availability;
  • Accepted payment methods;
  • Portfolio photographs and videos;
  • Project descriptions;
  • Reviews and public responses;
  • Identity Verified indicator;
  • iHandyman profile status.

iHandyman uses this information only as reasonably necessary to operate the directory and display the member’s profile and related iHandyman features, including search results, city pages, profile cards, availability, portfolios, projects, and reviews.

iHandyman does not use member-submitted profile photographs or portfolio content in unrelated advertising or promotional campaigns without separate permission from the person who submitted the content.

Because public profiles are publicly available, their content may be:

  • Viewed by other people;
  • Copied;
  • Shared through links;
  • Indexed by search engines;
  • Cached by browsers or search engines;
  • Saved by third parties outside iHandyman’s control.

Removing public information from iHandyman may not immediately remove copies previously indexed, cached, copied, or independently stored by third parties.

3.5 Reviews and Customer-Submitted Content

When a customer submits a review, rating, photograph, response, or related content, we may process:

  • Review text;
  • Star rating;
  • Uploaded photographs or other media;
  • The handyman associated with the review;
  • The customer account associated with the review;
  • Display name, where provided;
  • Email address;
  • Date and time of submission;
  • Review status;
  • Limited security and anti-spam information.

Review text, ratings, photographs, display names, handyman responses, and other information identified as public may appear publicly.

An email address used for account verification or review administration is not displayed publicly unless the user independently includes it in public content.

Do not place the following information in a public profile, review, portfolio, project description, or other public field:

  • Social Security numbers;
  • Government identification numbers;
  • Payment-card numbers;
  • Financial account information;
  • Passwords;
  • Private access codes;
  • Medical information;
  • Identity documents;
  • Other highly sensitive personal information.

3.6 Problem Reports and Supporting Information

A person submitting a problem report may voluntarily provide:

  • Name;
  • Email address;
  • Telephone number;
  • Service address or location;
  • Date of service or contact;
  • Description of the issue;
  • The associated handyman profile;
  • Photographs;
  • Documents or other supporting information;
  • A preferred response method;
  • Responses or follow-up information.

We use problem-report information to review participation in the iHandyman directory, manage profile status, investigate suspected fraud or abuse, protect users, enforce our Terms, and maintain service integrity.

Problem reports and private supporting materials are not ordinarily published.

Relevant portions of a report may be shared with the affected handyman when reasonably necessary to explain the issue, request a response, conduct a fair review, protect the service, or address a legal or safety concern.

Private contact information and unrelated private details are not ordinarily made public.

A problem report submitted to iHandyman is different from a direct message sent by a customer to a handyman. iHandyman processes only the information separately and intentionally submitted through the iHandyman problem-report system.

3.7 Communications Sent Directly to iHandyman

When a person contacts iHandyman itself, we process the information contained in that communication.

This may include:

  • Support requests;
  • Privacy requests;
  • Account questions;
  • Application questions;
  • Billing questions;
  • Responses to problem-report reviews;
  • Security reports;
  • Other communications intentionally directed to iHandyman.

We may use a transactional email provider to send:

  • Email-verification links;
  • Password-reset emails;
  • Account and security notices;
  • Membership and billing notices;
  • Identity-verification status notices;
  • Review or problem-report notices;
  • Support responses;
  • Other service-related communications.

We do not sell email addresses, rent mailing lists, or provide account email addresses to unrelated companies for their advertising.

4. Direct Communication Between Customers and Handymen

iHandyman does not operate a messaging platform between customers and handymen.

iHandyman does not provide:

  • An internal chat inbox;
  • An SMS relay;
  • An email relay;
  • A call-routing or call-recording service;
  • Access to a user’s personal text-message application;
  • Access to a user’s personal email account;
  • Storage of direct customer-handyman message history.

When a user chooses to call, text, email, or otherwise contact a handyman, the website may open the user’s own telephone, messaging application, email application, or another third-party service.

The user decides whether to send the communication.

The communication takes place directly between the customer and the handyman through their own devices, carriers, applications, and service providers.

iHandyman:

  • Does not send the direct message on the user’s behalf;
  • Does not route the communication through an iHandyman inbox;
  • Does not receive the contents of the communication;
  • Does not read the communication;
  • Does not monitor the communication;
  • Does not record the communication;
  • Does not store the communication;
  • Does not know what the parties wrote or discussed;
  • Does not know how the recipient responded.

Information sent directly to a handyman is controlled by the sender, the recipient, and the third-party communications service used by them.

This section does not apply to a review, problem report, support request, or other information separately and intentionally submitted directly to iHandyman through an iHandyman website function.

5. Photos, Videos, and Cloudflare Media Storage

Handymen voluntarily select and upload the profile photographs, portfolio photographs, videos, and project content they want displayed through iHandyman.

Public profile and portfolio media may be uploaded directly from the member’s browser to Cloudflare and may be stored, optimized, resized, protected, and delivered through Cloudflare’s media infrastructure.

iHandyman may retain a media identifier, file reference, technical metadata, or profile association needed to connect the uploaded media with the correct account, profile, review, project, or website feature.

iHandyman uses submitted public media only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Store and display it through the selected iHandyman feature;
  • Associate it with the correct account or profile;
  • Create technically appropriate image sizes or video formats;
  • Deliver it efficiently;
  • Protect the media and service;
  • Remove prohibited, fraudulent, unlawful, or unsafe content;
  • Respond to a deletion request;
  • Enforce the Terms of Service.

iHandyman does not:

  • Sell submitted photographs or videos;
  • Rent submitted media;
  • Provide submitted media to data brokers;
  • Use submitted media to create advertising profiles;
  • Use submitted media for cross-site behavioral advertising;
  • Use profile or portfolio media in unrelated advertising or promotional campaigns without separate permission.

Public profile and portfolio media is intended for public display.

Private media submitted as part of a problem report is not intended for public display and is used only for the review, security, enforcement, legal, or safety purposes described in this Policy.

Cloudflare processes media and related technical information under Cloudflare’s own contractual, security, and privacy obligations.

6. Stripe Payments and Membership Billing

iHandyman uses Stripe to process:

  • The one-time Verification and Setup Fee;
  • Recurring membership billing;
  • Subscription renewals;
  • Cancellations;
  • Refunds;
  • Payment disputes;
  • Related payment and fraud-prevention functions.

Payment-card information is entered into Stripe’s payment environment and processed by Stripe.

iHandyman does not store:

  • Full payment-card numbers;
  • Card security codes;
  • Complete bank-account credentials.

iHandyman may receive and retain limited payment and membership information from Stripe, including:

  • Payment status;
  • Transaction amount;
  • Transaction date;
  • Stripe customer identifier;
  • Payment identifier;
  • Invoice identifier;
  • Subscription identifier;
  • Subscription status;
  • Renewal or cancellation status;
  • Refund or dispute status;
  • Card brand or last four digits when made available by Stripe.

We use this limited information only to administer membership, reconcile transactions, provide account support, address payment disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain legally required business records.

Stripe processes payment information under its own terms and privacy practices.

7. Identity Verification Through Stripe Identity

Handyman identity verification is performed directly through Stripe Identity.

During Stripe’s verification process, Stripe may request and process information such as:

  • A government-issued identity document;
  • Images of the document;
  • A facial image or selfie;
  • Information extracted from the document;
  • Name;
  • Date of birth;
  • Address;
  • Government identification number;
  • Device and browser information;
  • Internet Protocol address;
  • Fraud-prevention and network signals;
  • Biometric identifiers used by Stripe to compare a facial image with an identity document.

These materials are submitted directly to Stripe.

iHandyman does not ask applicants to email, upload, or send identity documents directly to iHandyman.

iHandyman does not retrieve, download, copy, store, or review:

  • Images of identity documents;
  • Facial images or selfies;
  • Biometric templates or identifiers;
  • Full government identification numbers;
  • Information extracted from identity documents.

iHandyman’s ordinary verification workflow uses only:

  • The verification status or outcome;
  • A confirmation that verification was completed;
  • A Stripe Verification Session or reference identifier;
  • Limited metadata necessary to associate the verification result with the correct membership application.

Stripe may make additional verification information technically available within Stripe’s own systems. It is iHandyman’s policy and ordinary practice not to retrieve, download, copy, or review that information.

Stripe stores and processes identity-verification information under Stripe’s own privacy policy, identity terms, security practices, fraud-prevention obligations, and legal requirements.

A request to delete an iHandyman account does not automatically require Stripe to delete information that Stripe independently retains under its own policies or legal obligations.

A person may contact iHandyman regarding an iHandyman-linked verification record. We will address records under our control and, where appropriate, explain how the person may contact Stripe regarding information controlled by Stripe.

Deleting the verification result associated with an iHandyman account may make it impossible to maintain the Identity Verified indicator or an active handyman membership.

Do not send identity documents to iHandyman by ordinary email.

8. Technical Information and Essential Website Operation

Although iHandyman does not use advertising trackers, a functioning and secure website must process limited technical information.

iHandyman and its infrastructure providers may process:

  • Internet Protocol address;
  • Browser type;
  • Device type;
  • Operating system;
  • Requested page or resource;
  • Date and time of a request;
  • Login and session information;
  • Error and diagnostic information;
  • Security events;
  • Network and anti-abuse signals;
  • Referring-page information when supplied by the browser.

This information is used only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Deliver the requested website page or function;
  • Maintain login sessions;
  • Protect accounts;
  • Prevent spam, fraud, scraping, impersonation, and abuse;
  • Detect and investigate security incidents;
  • Diagnose technical problems;
  • Maintain service reliability;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Technical information is not used to build advertising profiles or track users across unrelated websites.

9. Cookies and Similar Technical Storage

iHandyman may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies that are necessary to:

  • Maintain login sessions;
  • Authenticate accounts;
  • Protect forms and accounts;
  • Verify email sessions;
  • Preserve selected settings;
  • Preserve search selections;
  • Support checkout and membership billing;
  • Prevent fraud and abuse;
  • Maintain website security;
  • Keep the service functioning correctly.

WordPress, WooCommerce, Stripe, Cloudflare, the website host, and other essential infrastructure providers may use necessary cookies or similar technical identifiers for authentication, security, service delivery, payment processing, fraud prevention, and diagnostics.

iHandyman does not use:

  • Advertising cookies;
  • Cross-site retargeting cookies;
  • Advertising pixels;
  • Session-replay tools;
  • Cross-site behavioral tracking technologies;
  • Cookies intended to build third-party advertising profiles.

Blocking all cookies may prevent account login, checkout, verification, security, or other website functions from working properly.

10. How We Use Information

iHandyman uses personal information only for reasonably necessary purposes, including to:

  • Operate and maintain the website;
  • Provide search and Live Availability results;
  • Create and administer customer accounts;
  • Process handyman membership applications;
  • Create and manage handyman profiles;
  • Display user-selected public profile information;
  • Display portfolios, projects, reviews, ratings, and availability;
  • Store and display user-submitted media;
  • Save favorite handyman profiles;
  • Verify email addresses;
  • Confirm identity-verification status;
  • Process membership payments and subscriptions;
  • Respond to support and privacy requests;
  • Review problem reports;
  • Manage profile status;
  • Prevent fraud, spam, scraping, abuse, and impersonation;
  • Protect accounts and service integrity;
  • Diagnose errors;
  • Maintain transaction and accounting records;
  • Enforce the Terms of Service;
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations;
  • Protect the rights and safety of users, handymen, iHandyman, and others.

iHandyman does not use personal information for unrelated behavioral advertising or data monetization.

11. When Information May Be Disclosed

iHandyman does not disclose personal information to unrelated companies for their own advertising, marketing, or data-broker purposes.

Information may be disclosed or processed only in the following limited circumstances.

11.1 Operational Service Providers

Information may be processed by providers that help us operate and protect the service, including:

  • Website and database hosting providers;
  • Cloudflare for security, content delivery, and media storage or delivery;
  • Stripe for payments, subscriptions, fraud prevention, and identity verification;
  • Transactional email providers;
  • Backup and infrastructure providers;
  • Security and anti-abuse providers;
  • Technical support providers;
  • Professional advisors where reasonably necessary.

These providers receive or process only the information reasonably necessary for the service they perform.

Their own terms, legal obligations, and privacy practices may also apply.

11.2 Information Made Public by the User

We display information that a user intentionally submits for:

  • A public handyman profile;
  • Search results;
  • A portfolio;
  • A project;
  • A public review;
  • A public response;
  • Another clearly identified public feature.

This is a disclosure made at the user’s direction as part of the requested service.

11.3 Problem Reports and Responses

Relevant portions of a problem report may be disclosed to the affected handyman, reporting person, professional advisor, insurer, payment provider, or other appropriate participant when reasonably necessary to:

  • Explain the reported issue;
  • Request or review a response;
  • Conduct a fair review;
  • Protect users or the service;
  • Investigate fraud or abuse;
  • Address a safety matter;
  • Establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.

11.4 Legal, Security, and Safety Requirements

We may preserve or disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law;
  • Respond to valid court process, subpoena, or government request;
  • Investigate fraud, abuse, impersonation, or a security incident;
  • Protect a person from serious harm;
  • Protect iHandyman’s legal rights;
  • Enforce the Terms of Service;
  • Establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.

11.5 Business Reorganization

If iHandyman is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of business assets, information reasonably necessary to continue the service may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Personal information will not be sold as a standalone data product.

Any successor will be required to handle transferred information subject to applicable law and the privacy commitments communicated to users.

12. No Sale, No Advertising Sharing, and No Behavioral Tracking

iHandyman does not:

  • Sell personal information;
  • Rent personal information;
  • Provide personal information to data brokers;
  • Sell mailing lists;
  • Share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising;
  • Permit advertising networks to track users through iHandyman;
  • Use advertising pixels;
  • Use retargeting tools;
  • Use session-recording tools;
  • Build advertising profiles based on browsing activity;
  • Combine account information with unrelated third-party data for advertising;
  • Allow unrelated companies to use iHandyman account information for their own direct marketing.

During the 12 months preceding the effective date of this Policy, iHandyman has not sold personal information or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Because iHandyman does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is currently no advertising sale or sharing from which a user needs to opt out.

Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid universal opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, iHandyman will honor that signal as required by law.

Some browsers also offer a legacy Do Not Track signal. Because iHandyman does not use cross-site behavioral advertising trackers, receiving this signal does not result in a different advertising-tracking practice.

If iHandyman’s practices materially change in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before using previously collected information for a materially different purpose and will provide any notice or choice required by law.

13. Retention and Deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.

The retention period depends on the type of information and the reason it is processed.

Generally:

  • Customer account information is retained while the account remains active or until deletion is requested.
  • Handyman application and membership information is retained while needed to review, establish, administer, or close the membership.
  • Public profile information remains until removed by the member, the account is deleted, or the profile is removed.
  • Public photographs, videos, projects, and portfolio content remain until deleted by the user, removed by iHandyman, or no longer reasonably necessary.
  • Reviews remain until deleted by the author, removed by iHandyman, or retained as reasonably necessary for a dispute, safety matter, enforcement action, or legal obligation.
  • Problem reports and supporting information may be retained while a review is open and afterward when reasonably necessary to protect users, identify repeated abuse, manage profile status, enforce the Terms, or address a legal claim.
  • Membership and transaction records may be retained for accounting, tax, refund, chargeback, fraud-prevention, and legal purposes.
  • Verification-result records may be retained while needed to support the Identity Verified indicator, document membership eligibility, prevent verification abuse, or resolve a dispute.
  • Security logs are retained for limited operational and security periods.
  • Backup copies may remain until overwritten through the ordinary backup cycle.
  • Stripe, Cloudflare, and other providers may retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations.

A user may request deletion at any time.

Where applicable, we will delete, anonymize, or restrict information unless retention remains reasonably necessary for:

  • Security;
  • Fraud prevention;
  • Accounting;
  • Tax compliance;
  • Payment disputes;
  • Legal compliance;
  • Enforcement;
  • Safety;
  • Establishing, exercising, or defending a legal claim;
  • Another purpose permitted by law.

Deleting an iHandyman account and canceling an active paid membership are separate actions.

A member should cancel an active subscription through the available membership controls in addition to requesting account deletion.

After public content is removed from iHandyman, copies may temporarily remain in search-engine caches, browser caches, ordinary backups, or copies previously made by third parties.

14. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Know whether we process personal information about you;
  • Request access to personal information;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of personal information;
  • Request a portable copy of certain information;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable;
  • Opt out of a sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying sharing;
  • Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable;
  • Appeal the denial of a privacy request where applicable;
  • Receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right.

iHandyman does not currently sell personal information or use it for targeted behavioral advertising.

You may update or delete information through your account where the relevant controls are available.

You may also submit a privacy request by emailing:

privacy@ihandyman.pro

When possible, send the request from the email address connected to your account.

State whether you are requesting:

  • Access;
  • Correction;
  • Deletion;
  • A copy of information;
  • Another privacy-related action.

Do not email a passport, driver’s license, Social Security number, payment-card number, or other identity document.

If additional verification is reasonably necessary, we will provide an appropriate method.

We may verify a request using:

  • The associated account;
  • A verified email address;
  • Information already maintained by iHandyman;
  • Other reasonable information necessary to protect the account.

Information used to verify a privacy request will be used only for verification and security.

Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request with appropriate proof of authorization.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right.

15. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Disclosures

For purposes of applicable California and other U.S. state privacy laws, the categories of personal information iHandyman may have processed during the preceding 12 months include:

  • Identifiers and contact information;
  • Account and customer-record information;
  • Commercial, transaction, payment, and subscription information;
  • Internet, browser, device, and network-activity information;
  • Approximate location derived from an Internet Protocol address;
  • Photographs, videos, reviews, and other user-generated content;
  • Professional and business information;
  • Problem-report and support information;
  • Sensitive identity-verification information collected directly and processed by Stripe.

Sources of this information may include:

  • The person who submits the information;
  • The person’s browser or device;
  • Stripe, Cloudflare, and other operational service providers;
  • Public professional sources voluntarily linked by an applicant;
  • Other users who submit reviews, photographs, problem reports, or related information.

These categories are used for the operational, security, verification, payment, support, public-display, legal, and other purposes described in this Policy.

These categories may be processed by operational service providers or made public when a user intentionally submits information for a public profile, portfolio, project, review, or other public feature.

iHandyman does not sell these categories of personal information.

iHandyman does not share these categories for cross-context behavioral advertising.

iHandyman does not use sensitive personal information for unrelated advertising, data brokerage, or profiling intended to infer personal characteristics.

Not every state privacy law necessarily applies to iHandyman. Where an applicable law grants a person specific rights, iHandyman will honor those rights as required by that law.

16. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

These safeguards may include:

  • Encrypted website connections;
  • Account authentication;
  • Password hashing;
  • Access controls;
  • Limited administrative access;
  • Security monitoring;
  • Anti-abuse controls;
  • Backups;
  • Software updates;
  • Established payment and identity-verification providers;
  • Established infrastructure and media-delivery providers.

No website, storage system, provider, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and should notify iHandyman promptly if unauthorized access is suspected.

17. Children’s Privacy

iHandyman is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Handyman membership, paid subscriptions, and identity verification are available only to adults who are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into the applicable agreement.

If we learn that personal information was collected from a child under 13 without legally required authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

A parent or legal guardian may contact privacy@ihandyman.pro regarding information relating to a child.

18. Third-Party Websites and Services

Public handyman profiles may contain links to independent:

  • Websites;
  • Social-media pages;
  • Review platforms;
  • Payment applications;
  • Telephone or messaging services;
  • Email providers;
  • Other third-party services.

iHandyman does not control these independent services and is not responsible for their privacy or security practices.

When a person leaves iHandyman or independently uses a third-party service, the privacy policy and terms of that service apply.

19. United States Service and International Visitors

iHandyman is directed primarily to users in the United States.

Information may be processed and stored in the United States and in other locations where our operational service providers maintain infrastructure.

A person accessing iHandyman from another country understands that applicable privacy protections and legal requirements may differ from those in the person’s home country.

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in:

  • The service;
  • Website functionality;
  • Technology;
  • Operational providers;
  • Legal requirements;
  • Privacy practices.

The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
